Photography Temporary Faculty Position
The Department of Art and Art History at Kutztown University invites applications for temporary faculty to teach darkroom and digital photography courses starting on April 9, 2018, and continuing until the end of the semester (May 11, 2018). Teaching responsibilities might include: introductory film/darkroom classes and advanced photography class with both digital and darkroom components.
In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, performance review and evaluation of faculty is based on effective teaching and fulfillment of professional responsibilities; continuing scholarly growth; and service. Requirements: Master’s degree in photography or a related area; expertise with 35mm SLR film cameras, black-and-white darkroom printing practices, print finishing, and some knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Epson printers; familiarity with contemporary fine art photographic concepts and practices; record of exhibitions or other evidence of professional art activity in photography. Successful interview and demonstration of relevant abilities required.
