SENIOR WRITER & MANAGING EDITOR
Duties: The Senior Writer serves as the 'voice' of Penn Law and a steward of the Law School brand, as well a translator of the scholarship and accomplishments of faculty, students, and alumni. The incumbent's work product should engage, inform, and influence a range of internal and external audiences and constituents, bolstering the institution's reputation. Working collaboratively with people and programs across Penn Law, the incumbent is responsible for writing a range of content for print and electronic communications vehicles, such as news and feature articles, press releases, op-eds, marketing collateral, and speeches. The Senior Writer also works as editor and project manager, handling other editorial and related duties as assigned by the Associate Dean for Communications. The incumbent will have proven success writing in a legal, policy, higher education, media, or related professional context.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree is required, Master's preferred, along with at least 3 to 5 years of experience.
