Advertised Job Summary: This position reports to the Remote HR Manager and serves as the Human Resources Manager for Facilities. This position provides oversight in all aspects of the Facilities Human Resources activities and works closely with the Director of Facilities Administration and Budget Operations. The incumbent is required to exercise independent judgment and has discretion in performance of duties. Duties Include: - Oversee and direct the day-to-day human resources activities Facilities to include supervision of the Facilities HR administrative staff. Develop Facilities HR administrative staff within their respective functions to best serve the Facilities employees. -Review all requests for Facilities new hires and ensures proper system actions are completed and processed in a timely manner. Develop and executes recruitment plans to attract strong candidates for hiring and ensures time to fill positions is within set standards. -Educate employees and Facilities HR staff on HR policies and procedures, employee benefits, and coordinates leave requests as well as FMLA disability leave between employees and Benefits Office. -Coordinate strategic initiatives such as succession planning, rewards and recognition programs and identifying professional development opportunities to improve overall employee job satisfaction in Facilities. Ensure completion of all required supervisory and line level required training courses.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Bachelor's degree and 5 years experience in human resources management programs.
