Advertised Job Summary: Under limited supervision, reporting to the Director of Prospect Analytics Services, the Senior Prospect Analyst supports the success of major gift development efforts at the University of South Carolina by performing advanced analysis pertaining to potential and current annual, major and planned gift donors whose philanthropic resources and interests align with University priorities. Requires the ability to effectively present large volumes of information, assembled from the constituent relationship management (CRM) database and other auxiliary sources. The position will utilize internal, public and subscription-based resources to compile biographic, business, philanthropic, and financial data into interactive charts, detailed analyses, and concise reports. The Senior Prospect Analyst manages advanced requests focused on prospect portfolios, metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs) and other similar work and assists in the execution of comprehensive prospect identification and prospect management projects.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Master's degree and 3 years related program experience, or bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience. May be required to travel overnight to conferences for professional development, work late evenings and weekends. Must have a valid driver's license.
