Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

The Program Coordinator will coordinate and manage day-to-day activities of assigned research projects; supervise, evaluate, and oversee work assignments of staff; assist in developing measurement protocols and procedures; train and evaluate data collection staff on measurement protocols and procedures; train and evaluate data collection staff on measurement protocols and procedures; monitor measurement activities for quality assurance; develop, coordinate, and manage schedules to ensure that measurement tasks are completed in a timely manner; prepare and submit IRB materials; participate in project meetings and present status reports to investigators and staff.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Master's degree and 2 years related program experience, or bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience.

Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Experience in program coordination. Expertise in use of basic exercise testing equipment, personal computers and the Internet. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office package. Experience or interest in measuring physical activity in children or youth is preferred. Strong verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interact with school personnel, children and adolescents, and parents.
