Job description

This position in the Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) will support the Participant Recruitment Services and provide marketing assistance to other CCTS Cores. Duties include: developing recruitment materials using Adobe Creative Suite software for clinical research studies and marketing materials for the promotion of CCTS, assist in the distribution and promotion of research study advertising, assist with community outreach events, assist with educational training programs, assist with maintenance of Drupal web-managed site and social media sites, and assist in maintenance and distribution of information to the CCTS ListServ.

Physical Requirements

Sitting for long periods at computer station. Walking around hospital locations to distribute recruitment materials. Lifting light objects up to 25 lbs.


Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm (hours are flexible within normal daytime shift); and occasional Saturday/ Sunday/ evenings to staff booth at health fairs.


Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, detail oriented and able to multitask, and customer service orientation.

Preferred Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field, and 2 years experience experience in administrative or clerical support.
