Position Summary

The Clinical Psychophysiology Lab (cpl.psy.msu.edu) in the Department of Psychology at Michigan State University (MSU) seeks a research associate (postdoctoral fellow) in clinical psychophysiology focused on multi-method approaches – including behavior, EEG/ERP, fMRI, and peripheral physiology (e.g., startle eye blink, heart rate, skin conductance) – to cognitive and affective mechanisms in anxiety and related psychopathology. The position will center on two NIH-funded studies that examine associations between anxiety-related problems and cognitive-control, reward, and threat processing across the menstrual cycle and development. Research Associates are also encouraged to participate in and develop related projects in line with these themes.

We are seeking candidates with a doctoral degree in clinical or cognitive psychology, or neuroscience. Successful applicants will have substantive interests in anxiety research, and a goal of developing expertise in EEG/ERP and psychophysiology.
