Assistant/Associate Professor of Education and Director of the Teaching and Learning Center

Drury University is currently accepting applications for an assistant/associate professor of education and Director of the Teaching and Learning Center. As director of the TLC, the candidate will provide direction and vision for a campus culture committed to continuous improvement of teaching. The candidate will also teach courses in the Secondary Education curriculum (which could include online and graduate level courses) and advise students in Secondary Education.

This is a 12-month, tenure-track position that will begin June 2018. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a commitment to effective teaching, promise as scholars in current pedagogies, and relevant leadership experience in centers committed to improving teaching and assessment practices among a community of scholar-teachers. Minimum qualifications include a PhD or EdD in Curriculum and Instruction (or a related field). Teaching experience at the high school level is preferred.
