Description of Position
The San Ramon Campus of Diablo Valley College is looking for a pool of adjunct faculty to teach Introductory and General Chemistry lectures and labs. Candidates will need to demonstrate the ability to teach a student body diverse in age, ethnicity, and academic skills.

Minimum Qualification-Education/Experience
1. Master's degree in chemistry OR
2. Bachelor's degree in chemistry or biochemistry AND a master's degree in biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical physics, physics, molecular biology, or geochemistry
3. A valid California Community Instructor Credential authorizing full-time instruction in chemistry OR
4. The equivalent. (If you believe that you meet the minimum qualifications via equivalency, please fill out the equivalency form found in the online application.)

Desirable Qualifications
1. Experience working with diverse student populations.
2. Demonstrated experience teaching Introductory and/or General Chemistry lectures and labs.
