Utility Operations and Maintenance

Occupational Summary

Provides engineering and technical support to the Utilities Operation and Maintenance team in support of utility plant and utility distribution systems (steam, chilled water, hot water, water/sewer, and storm water) needs; perform related engineering analysis to assist in planning and ensure efficient operations; assist in the development of design standards; provide design review for both utility system and utility plant projects.

Education

Work requires a Bachelor's degree in a specific engineering field related to construction (e.g. Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) and eligibility for North Carolina licensure as an Engineer.

Experience

Work requires a minimum of three years experience in design, planning, evaluation and project management related to new construction and renovation of buildings and/or systems. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
