Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus announces the opening of a faculty position at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor with the University of Colorado Women's Reproductive Health Research Career Development Center. We are one of 14 WRHR centers in the United States funded by the National Institutes of Health. The purpose of the WRHR Program is for junior faculty who have recently completed postgraduate clinical training in Obstetrics and Gynecology to further their education and experience in basic, translational, and clinical research.

These positions will allow the selected individuals to obtain research training for a period of up to five years depending upon previous research experience. In addition to 75% research time, these positions require 25% clinical effort in the inpatient and outpatient settings.


Minimum Qualifications;

Candidates must have a doctoral degree (M.D. or D.O.) and have completed their residency and/or fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Those with a strong interest in an academic career as a physician scientist in Obstetrics and Gynecology are encouraged to apply. Previous research experience is preferred but not required.

Applicants must be board certified or board eligible in Ob/Gyn and must possess, or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Colorado.
