Minimum $36,790 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Graduate of Respiratory Therapy Program preferred.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

At least one (1) year of experience in a clinical research or clinical setting, e.g., Pulmonary Function Laboratory or Exercise Physiology program. In-depth knowledge of equipment, computers and software utilized in the pulmonary function testing environment.



License or certificate:

Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist and/or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist preferred.



Position Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to be a key contributor to the Children's Respiratory and Environmental Workgroup (CREW), a federally funded, multi-center network studying how genetics interact with environmental exposures during the prenatal and early childhood years to cause specific subtypes of childhood asthma. There are twelve CREW clinical sites and support for CREW activities is awarded to the UW-Madison. The UW-Madison is CREW's hub, providing scientific leadership, laboratory sample processing services, grant and resource management services, and highly specialized technical support, including pulmonary function testing expertise.
