Advertised Job Summary: The Registrar serves as a key member of the Enrollment Management leadership team for initiative development and implementation. Specifically, this position is responsible the supervision of the University Records Office and is a key compliance officer for federal, state, and universities laws and policies. The Registrar oversees all student registration, degree audit, transfer credit posting, graduation clearance, university bulletin updates, and a variety of enrollment related activities. This highly technology-based position, reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor, is critical in the efforts to develop innovative ideas/programs/services to grow university enrollment. All efforts of this position and the Records Office, both strategic and routine, are to be viewed as enrollment enhancement activities. Requires a Master's degree in Student Services or related field and 5 years related experience; or bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience, including experience managing professional staff members preferably in a college or university registrar's office. Ability to create, run and interpret reports from university (or similar) ERP and Data Warehouse systems and knowledge of ERP backend user scripting and programming preferred. Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Masters degree in Student Services or related field and 5 years related experience, or bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience.
