UK's Center for Clinical and Translational Science is seeking an experienced data analyst to support affiliated health system research and operational activities. This position is housed in the CCTS Biomedical Informatics Core.

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining data infrastructure to facilitate biomedical research and reporting activities, including data gathering (especially using SQL queries) & modeling, report creation, report automation, and quality assurance activities.

Physical Requirements

Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds, or some standing or walking. Sitting for long periods at computer station.



Shift

Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (hours are flexible within a normal daytime shift).



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Development and management skills in BI/BA tools, Tableau, T-SQL and PL/SQL. Deep understanding of database management principles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Education/Experience

BA in Computer Science, Healthcare Information Systems, or Statistics plus 4 years experience in data systems support, analysis, implementation, and/or operation preferred.
