This position assists and supports all staff within the Office of Admissions with needed tasks which may include answering the main phone line, responding to the Admissions Office e-mail account as directed, collecting and processing department mail, assisting with event preparation, set up and clean up, assisting with data entry, conducting research, and providing general office support and other duties as assigned.
High school diploma/equivalency is required. A minimum one year of work experience is also required.
Applicants must be familiar with accurate data entry, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar software and standard office equipment/procedures.
Must be able to independently prioritize multiple work assignments, maintain professional office demeanor, and interact with a wide variety of constituents (prospective students, faculty, staff, alumni, and others). Must be able to dress professionally and arrive to work on time daily.
Prior work experience in an office setting is preferred.

Anticipated Salary Range
$10-$11 per hour depending on experience
This is an OPS/temporary Job.
Position is full-time, M-F, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime evening hours may be required for special events.
Criminal Background Check
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
