Position Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Quality Patient Safety & Infection Prevention, the Clinical Pathway Program Manager will be responsible for clinical pathway development and oversight of all the disease related certifications. Collaborates across the health system to facilitate the UCI Medical Center strategic plan supporting standardization of health care, improvement of care quality and safety and achievement of financial goals.

Salary Range:

Rate Minimum $84,200.00 Maximum $151,500.00

Required Qualifications:

Ability to develop and implement programs and improve organizational performance

Ability to strategically identify areas appropriate for clinical path development or pathway revision/updates, including consideration of updated best practices, community clinical needs and/or organizational business development aims

Ability to successfully represent the UCI Health as required to the external community

Ability to work independently and prioritize workload effectively.

Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare discipline

Current California licensure in a healthcare discipline

Demonstrated leadership skills and expertise required to facilitate development of clinical pathways and promote consensus between health care providers in the same service line and across disciplines

Demonstrated success in applying critical thinking skills

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent negotiation skills and proven ability to influence others internal and external to the organization

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the use of an electronic medical record

Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare with an emphasis on relationship building with multiple health care disciplines

Strong financial, analytical and planning skills to effectively evaluate standard of care initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated leadership experience

Master's Degree in a related field
