The Talent Management & Workforce Strategy (TM&WS) team seeks aSourcer for a six month fixed term positionto achieve our mission to attract, develop, and retain a diverse and talented workforce that supports the University. Our team is passionate about connecting the right talent to strengthen our Stanford community while enriching career growth. This newly created position needs a self-starter to build our newly developed Hard-to-Fill, High Volume and CriticalPrograms! This challenging position requires you to:

  • Source and develop a pipeline of candidates with the focus in technical, administrative and financeareas through multiple channels (e.g., internal database, Internet sites, referrals and networks, etc.).
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates.
  • Engage with top talent to create dynamic candidate pipelines across schools and units throughout the University.
  • Serve as an expert for creating talent pool(s) by understanding the competitive landscape and hiring needs within Stanford.
  • Provide market intelligence to solve candidate pipeline challenges.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to deeply understand technical requirements of the position, the function and how it fits into the organization.
  • Leverage your technical business knowledge to develop meaningful recruiting strategies, which promotes Stanford's brand.
  • Deliver detailed metrics reporting to drive continuous process and strategy improvement.
  • Other duties may also be assigned


    Education & Experience:

    Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proven track record or achievement and success.
  • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Highly-developed interviewing skills
  • Through knowledge of state and federal employment laws applicable to the hiring of employees, including affirmative action and equal employment opportunity requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience with web-based systems and recruiting sources, including the internet, social media, warm/cold calling, referrals, events, networking, publications, industry groups/associations, and job fairs.
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office Suite
