Chemeketa Community College welcomes applications for a full-time Administrative Assistant – First Year Programs

Position Summary

This responsible for independently performing office administration activities involving complex and technical work involving increased consequences of error in decision making in an assigned area of responsibility. Incumbent conducts research to resolve operational issues and serve as a technical expert responsible for training and supporting other employees. Incumbent also makes and/or recommends methods to accomplish work.

Terms of Employment: 

  • This is a 100%, 12-month classified assignment of the B2 band and grade.
  • Upon hire, must pass security inquiry, which may include criminal and/or driving history; only information relevant to the position will be considered.
  • Requires flexible work schedule to meet program needs, which may include evenings and/or weekends or travel to other district locations.
  • Requires the provision of official transcripts upon hire.

$2,664.00 - $3,860.00 Monthly


Associate degree from an accredited institution


One year of full-time work experience in a customer service or educational setting providing administrative support


High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.)


Three years of full-time work experience in a customer service or educational setting providing administrative support
