Computer Systems Lab Coordinator
The Department of Computer Science invites applications for a full time, Computer Systems Lab Coordinator. This is an entry-level position for individuals with one-year systems administration experience, preferably with exposure to either shell scripting, scripting languages (python), or compiled languages (such as Java or C.) Individuals with more advanced skill sets are also encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will work closely with students, faculty, and members of the Information Technology Services staff. The position will be housed in the Department of Computer Science and will be responsible, in collaboration with faculty, for software maintenance of a combined dual-boot teaching lab and virtualized CPU/GPU computer cluster environment. As the position develops, responsibilities can evolve to include cluster design responsibilities and working with department staff to determine the growing needs of the organization.
