Work Schedule: Flexible Schedule (days, evenings, weekends). Schedule varies based on the needs of the department. Supervisor will work with the selected candidate to set a schedule designed to support the demands of the department.

Job Description:

SUMMARY

Works directly with students, proving academic tutorial assistance in support of the material taught in class.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Supports the department's goal of providing students with supplemental academic support by:

  • Provides one-to-one and small group tutoring
  • Develops and implements non-credit workshops
  • Conducts “class visits” and assists with publicizing services
  • Assists with the maintenance of records
  • Completes all necessary paperwork accurately and according to stated deadlines
  • Assists with the development and maintenance of departmental instructional materials
  • Performs other duties as assigned
