Job Summary:
This position performs a wide variety of complex administrative support services for the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) Administration including, but not limited to, CALS Business Services, and the Wisconsin Agricultural Experiment Station (WAES) units.
The individual in this position is expected to utilize independent action, initiative, judgment and discretion and knowledge of State & UW policies and procedures to ensure compliance; must be organized; must have the ability to meet deadlines; utilize computing resources effectively; and must exercise common courtesy and professionalism when dealing with faculty, staff, students, and visitors. The assignments are varied and must be adapted to special circumstances. The individual in this position will present a positive, patient and tolerant attitude in all personal and telephone interactions as well as presenting a positive image for CALS. This individual will also need to consistently exercise common courtesy, accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and strive to maintain a cooperative relationship with students, faculty, staff and visitors.
Duties are performed under the general supervision of the CALS Business Services Associate Dean.

75 - 100% FTE; with regular business hours between 7:45-4:30. This position is anticipated to be in place for at least 12 months from date of hire. It is possible the position may be extended up to 24 months from date of hire, or become an ongoing position, depending on business need, satisfactory performance, and available funding.
