A Bachelor's degree by June 1, 2018 is required.

The ideal candidate would have 1 year instructional experience preferred.

Position Summary:

Develop course curriculum for a range of subjects based on a college major for pre-college students. Teach curriculum to high school students. Grade coursework as appropriate.

This year we expect that the following subjects will need an instructor:
* Math & Finance
* Art
* Athletic Training & Rehabilitation
* Bio/Chemical Engineering
* CALS
* Business & Marketing
* Asian Studies
* Linguistics/ Communication Arts
* Computer Science & Engineering
* Dance
* Education
* Engineering
* Social Studies (Women's Studies, HDFS, Sociology)
* Architecture
* Law & Politics
* UW Health (Pharmacy)
* Physics
* Psychology

PEOPLE will attempt to find applicable employment internships for the students in the field of study. If an internship site is secured, the instructor will teach in the morning and the students will attend the employment site in the afternoon. If no suitable internship site is secured, the instructor will teach classes in the morning and afternoon.



Additional Information:

The deadline for assuring full consideration is March 21, 2018, however positions will remain open and applications may be considered until the position is filled.
Room and board are not provided under this position.
This position does not qualify for visa sponsorship.
This position is from May 1 to July 25. May 1 to June 16, the positions will be appointed at 15-20%. From June 17- July 25, they will be appointed at 50% or 100% depending on the subject and internship placements.
