Position Summary: Acts as the Project Director or project manager for Data Coordinating Center activities of multi-site observational public health studies or clinical trials. Duties include directing the activities of large project teams, lead internal and external meetings, interfacing with study investigators, clinical sites, reading centers and project sponsors around the country, providing professional support and leadership for all study staff/personnel, and monitoring the timelines, quality and budget of all project tasks. Also includes functional management of one or more social/clinical research staff and the development and implementation of new CSCC initiatives and Standard Operating Procedures. Successful research supervisors must be leaders, innovative problem solvers and creative strategists with excellent communication skills and technical familiarity with data management and/or statistical programming.

Education Requirements: A master's degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, public health leadership or equivalent field. Formal training in Project Management.
Qualification and Experience: 6 years research experience with at least 3 years as project director/manager. Familiarity working with laboratory data and data management systems, basic SAS programming skills.
