Job Duties: DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM MAINTAINENCE Contributes to system analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Section's research data systems and other related systems. Serves as a project team member and is fully accountable to EP Director of Research and project Principal Investigator (PI) for successful management of assigned systems and tasks. Provides training and development to coworkers as assigned by EP Director of Research or PI. Documents regulatory and data security requirements for EP research projects and under the supervision of the project Principal Investigator, develops quality assurance protocols and coordinates quality assurance efforts with other project members. Serves as a key liaison between researchers and Principal Investigator. Develops programming code to pull data from various resources, develops/designs various reports compiled from the databases. When approved by the project PI, provides data output to researchers. In collaboration with the PI, ensures that all applicable regulatory and ethical standards are met and documented. Maintains the research databases by updating data, user roles and maintenance tables. Troubleshoots system issues and resolves them in collaboration with the technical team and PI. Drafts project documents, track decisions and future action items, document meeting discussions, draft and update status reports, and disseminate communications to the Principal Investigator DATA INTEGRITY AND REPORTING Monitors data for errors and audits systems for operational problems. Identifies and creates opportunities to continually improve the quality of data management systems, processes, and standards. Ascertains user needs and campus reporting requirements for the systems. Develops user manuals and training materials and coordinates and provides campus-wide training on the systems. Develops a library of standard reports and designs complex ad hoc reports as requested by users. WEBSITE Maintains all EP research websites under supervision of the EP Director of Research
