This position serves as the Academic Program Specialist for the Department of Statistics. The incumbent is responsible for the development and delivery of graduate and undergraduate student support services, including admissions, advising, enrollment, monitoring student progress, scheduling courses, verifying fellowship eligibility, and processing graduation clearances. The incumbent works closely with the academic and admissions committees of the department to provide data, support, and recommendations to further the success of our undergraduate and graduate programs and implements policy changes when needed.


A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience is required.
Experience working in a customer service environment.
Experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel or comparable software.
Experience establishing priorities, organizing, and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.


Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply University policies and procedures.
Knowledge of academic program requirements.
Knowledge of university admissions processes.

Anticipated Salary Range

Anticipate hiring in the low $30,000s

Pay Plan

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
