Works under general supervision and provides complex administrative support work.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
-Performs a variety of specialized duties including, but not limited to preparing correspondence and reports, maintains files, schedules meetings and greets visitors for the Social Work program. Performs administrative support including typing/word processing, mail preparation, copying, distribution, telephone calls, and travel orders for faculty personnel. Collects and maintains up-to-date statistical data for planning and reporting purposes.
-Assists faculty with class materials.
-Assists faculty with travel documents and request to purchase forms.
-Assists students with issues/concerns.
-Orders/maintains office supplies for the Social Work program.
-Advises students, administrators, employees, and those outside the institution regarding policies, procedures, and rules.
-Maintains the department's budget and provides monthly expense reports.
-Performs other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two years of related experience.
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Salary: $22, 716 per year, paid bi-weekly
