Degree and Area of Specialization:
B.S. degree in Food Science, Biological/Process Engineering or Related Field
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Practical experience in a food research laboratory or another related research laboratory preferred. Entry level professionals are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a knowledge of dairy chemistry and dairy technology; and/or knowledge of food engineering are a plus!
License or certificate:
The incumbent in this position will work within the CDR Processing Group, which utilitzes dairy plant processing equipment to
conduct customized process trials for research and industry clients. Fractionation, thermal processing, concentration or
drying of milk, whey, whey proteins and other dairy fractions represent some of the pilot plant processing techniques used
while conducting experiments.
Title prefix is dependent on relevant work experience.
