Position Summary: THIS POSITION IS BEING RE-POSTED PREVIOUS APPLICANTS ARE STILL BEING CONSIDERED AND NEED NOT REAPPLY. The North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences Institute (NC TraCS) is funded by a large (approximately $10M/year) grant from the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS). The CTSA grant provides infrastructure resources to research teams across the University to facilitate translational research (i.e., moving discoveries from the laboratory to human testing to real world settings). The CTSA grant is disease agnostic and therefore provides services and resources across all disciplines, requiring substantial collaboration across schools and departments within the University. A major part of this grant is providing education, career development, and training to the translational research workforce. The CTSA Workforce Development Program Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the CTSA Workforce Development Program Manager with day-to-day activities and implementation of projects to realize the vision of the faculty leadership.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years of related experience required. Master's degree strongly preferred.
Qualification and Experience: At least two years' experience in a programmatic, marketing, administrative and/or operational capacity in biomedical research operations. Prefer previous experience with education or workforce training programs, particularly large projects. Proven track record in building credibility and strong working relationships with faculty members/ investigators and technical/professional staff. Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills. Strong project management, administrative, planning, prioritization, and organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage competing and changing priorities and multiple tasks under inflexible timelines.
