Advertised Job Summary: The Peer Consultant Coordinator is responsible for overseeing development, implementation, and assessment of a comprehensive array of academic support initiatives for undergraduate students at the University of South Carolina. The Peer Consultant Coordinator contributes to service development, improvement, and delivery of the Peer Consultant Program. This position is charged with providing programs and services that facilitate self-regulated learning, retention and degree completion, academic goal setting, skill development, and effective decision-making. The Peer Consultant Coordinator supports the comprehensive nature of the Student Success Center through assessment, workshop development and delivery, 1-1 student consultations, representation of the SSC at campus events and functions, and may supervise graduate and/or student leaders.
Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions): Masters degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, or Counseling or related field and 1 year related experience, or bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience.
