Department of Athletics - Football
Responsible for interpreting University and functional policies, ensuring regulatory compliance with policies and procedures. Will oversee some alumni, sport operations, and football compliance. Assists with the on-campus recruiting process to include official and unofficial visits, game days, junior days and summer camps. Assists recruiting coordinator with the walk on program by providing research and data of prospective student athletes. Travels with team to competitions to provide statistical support to the coaching staff in game.
Responsible for the video and computer breakdowns for practice and games as assigned by the respective coordinators. Responsible for scouting and statistical data reports as assigned by the respective coordinators. Assists with the formation, issue, and return of offensive, defensive and special teams playbooks. Assists with self-scouting offensive, defensive and special teams schemes.
Responsible for card drawings as assigned by the respective coordinators. Researches and analyzes opposing team strategy, chart tendencies and proposes strategic plays. Assists in the coordination and monitoring of daily schedules of student-athletes, which includes classes and academic commitments, practice and conditioning, community service, etc. Other duties as assigned.
Bachelors and 4 years of related experience or a combination of post high school education and related experience equal to eight years.
Minimum 2 years of experience in football coaching, football analytics, or related football administration at the collegiate or professional level.
Experience using XOS video editing software.
Experience with video review/editing and preparation of scouting reports.
Knowledge of NCAA rules, policies and procedures.
Knowledge of offensive/defensive schemes, practice and game plans, offensive/defensive play books and game books at the collegiate level.
Proficient in use of current football technology;
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Criminal Background Check
