Position Summary: The Department of English and Comparative Literature is inviting applications for Teacher Assistant Professor positions from current graduate students in our department who will complete their PhD's in May or August this year. Our positions are for one year only and will require recipients to teach five courses at the first and second year level. Assignments will be split between composition classes and literature courses. Remuneration will be $6,000 per course (totaling $30,000), plus benefits and health insurance.

Education Requirements: Applicants must defend their dissertations by the end of the spring 2018 semester and graduate with a PhD in English & Comparative Literature from UNC no later than the end of the 2018 summer session.

Qualification and Experience: Must have a PhD in English & Comparative Literature from UNC.
