To assist in the operation of the Cat Pause Convenience Store, as well as in the main UVM Bookstore and Henderson's Caf as needed. Stock merchandise, operate cash register, maintain displays, clean office and work surfaces, brew and prepare coffee and specialty drinks, and provide exceptional customer service and product delivery in a very fast-paced environment. This position requires active engagement in learning and practicing principles of social justice and inclusion, environmental sustainability and delivering outstanding customer service.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
High School diploma and familiarity with retail sales and convenience store/caf operations required. Knowledge of computer operations and data entry required. Ability to lift 5-25 lbs regularly and up to 70lbs occasionally, stand for long periods of time with stooping, bending, climbing, and repetitive motions regularly required.Must be able to work some weekends and evenings as required, and University holidays with occasional overtime as needed. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, social justice and training, fostering a collaborative multicultural environment required.
