Degree and Area of Specialization:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Minimum of 1-3 years collegiate coaching experience preferred. Other qualifications include the ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups and administrators, faculty, staff and students. The successful applicant must be able develop and implement innovative approaches and solutions; work well independently and in teams; and be flexible in accepting new responsibilities.
License or certificate:
Under the general supervision of the Sr. Associate Athletic Director, manage a Division I Wrestling program in accordance with NCAA, Big Ten, and University rules and regulations as a Head Coach. The primary responsibility of the position is the instruction of student-athletes in the fundamentals in the sport of Wrestling. Additional responsibilities will include: supervision of two Assistant Coaches; oversight of recruiting, conditioning, budget, and public relations duties; administration of the sport, and other duties as assigned by the Sr. Associate Athletic Director.

This is a Limited appointment, serving at the discretion of the Athletic Director. Salary will be assigned within the appropriate range, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. An excellent benefits package is also included. Anticipated start date on or after April 1, 2018.
