Experience Requirement: Evidence of actual or potential success in online teaching, research, and service is expected. Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language are required. Must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Usual Duties: Nine-month appointment with opportunity for summer employment available. Possible 3 year appointment to be renewed annually. This is a 75% teaching and 25% variable appointment with research and service activities. Primary teaching responsibilities will be Interdisciplinary within the field of Agriculture with emphasis in Animal Science courses. Interdisciplinary courses could include Sustainable Agriculture, Ag Communications, Agricultural Advocacy, Agritourism, Animal Products, Agricultural Education, Agricultural Business, or other related coursework. Teaching responsibilities may also include other animal science or related courses as needed. Ability to teach primarily online with some traditional courses is to be expected. The successful applicant will contribute to our growing undergraduate research program and competitive teams.

Degree Requirements: An earned doctorate in Animal Science, Agriculture, Agricultural Business, Agricultural Communications, Agricultural Education, Agricultural Leadership, Agricultural Engineering Technology, Plant and Soil Sciences, or a closely related field. ABD candidates may be considered.
