Position Description

Advertised Job Summary

This position is responsible for the coordination and administration of Title IV and private educational loan programs available to the University's students and their parents.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)

Masters degree in Student Services or related field, or bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in financial aid program administration along with analytical and complex processing capabilities.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

The ability to work with and maintain the confidentiality of records. The ability to plan, organize, prioritize work, communicate thoroughly and accurately with a diverse population, with colleagues, and with specific outside agencies. The ability to make independent but accurate judgments. The successful candidate will have to learn and maintain a working knowledge of the Direct Loan programs, COD system requirements and responsibilities, and the associated University financial aid policies and procedures. Should be able to work independently but within a highly integrated team that has service and responsible administration as its highest priorities.communicate thoroughly and accurately with a diverse population, with colleagues, and with specific outside agencies. The employee should possess leadership capabilities, a high energy level, and a dedication to outstanding student service.
