Information Technology Services
ITS-ITAPP [Information Technology Administration Partnership Program] partnership to deliver information technology services for theLearning Systems Institute (LSI).Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, or modifies computer hardware, multimedia equipment and related devices. Initiates routine diagnostics to determine cause of equipment failure and follows standard procedures for problem resolution. Installs and customizes application softwareServes as a principal point of contact to answer inquiries and serves as liaison between end users and the appropriate Information Technology Services (ITS) area or University department able to provide problem resolution, within defined turnaround time.
Trains users on basic computer functions, software, or multimedia equipment to facilitate and enhance their work experienceMaintains appropriate information relating to workstation configurations, replacement cycle and planning. Create surplus lists and act as the inventory custodian. Performs other duties as assigned.Provide A/V and computer support during conferences and workshops. Must operate a University or rental vehicle to travel to worksites in and out of town.
Performs duties in compliance with ITS policies, guidelines, and processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, project management, change management, and incident management. Appropriately utilizes associated tools in accordance with ITS standards.
High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to two years.
A valid Florida or Georgia driver's license or the ability to obtain one.
A candidate would be expected to possess a working knowledge of proper testing and troubleshooting of PC’s Laptops and other peripheral equipment.
Working knowledge of Windows 10 OS and Office 2016/Office 365. Working knowledge of Mac OS’s and laptops a plus.
Strong customer service skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently.
Experience with Microsoft Office version 2013 or higher, with basic network configuration and troubleshooting skills, and with working successfully in a team-oriented environment.
The candidate must be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
Experience in a higher education help desk environment
Knowledge of Office 365 Applications
Experience maintaining inventory tracking for IT equipment.
Experience with 3D printing systems
Anticipated Salary Range
Salary will not exceed $25,000 annually
This is an USPS (University Support Personnel System) position.
If not otherwise specified, schedule is M-F, 8-5.
