Advertised Job Summary
Postdoctoral Fellow position responsible for the implementation of funded health services research projects focused on hospital and community health center expansion in rural areas of SC and nationwide. Applicant must have strong statistical and data management skills, and responsibilities will vary and may include primary data collection and analysis of health provider and systems data; secondary data analysis of area- and patient-level claims data; federal project reporting; preparation of research and policy briefs; and manuscript writing. -Doctoral Degree in Public Health or closely related field by date of employment
-Available for state and national travel
Experience and technical proficiency using statistical software (STATA, SAS, or SUDDAN).
Experience or distinct interest in rural health and minority health disparities.
