The position is with Quantitative Methodology and Innovation part of the Florida Center of Reading Research located in Innovation Park at 2010 Levy Avenue.
Daily responsibilities include the analysis, documentation and oversight of all aspects of data quality and data use in the Reach Every Reader project.
The researcher will be responsible, alongside Dr. Petscher, for developing cognitive diagnostic models of early literacy skills, overseeing model-based structural equation model development and univariate meta-analysis projects. The candidate will also be responsible for data analyses and writing technical manuals for created assessments as well as manuscripts for peer-review publications
Academic doctorate in Psychology, Education, Measurement, Statistics, or a related field with a demonstrated record of achievement in research.
Candidates must have experience with basic and advanced psychometric theory analysis including classical test theory, item response theory, and explanatory item response modeling. The candidate should have knowledge of PreK-Grade 5 reading development and biopsychosocial predictors of individual differences in reading skills.
Previously published experience with meta-analysis (observed or model-based), longitudinal growth models, advanced latent variable models, and/or explanatory item response theory.

Anticipated Salary Range
$60,000 - $70,000
Salary to be commensurate with education and experience.
This is a Faculty position.
Soft Money Funded Position
This position is time-limited based on soft money funding, with renewal contingent upon available funds and the needs of the University.
The schedule generally is 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Criminal Background Check
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
