Required Qualifications:
1.Experience working directly with Microsoft web technologies in the development of web applications: .NET Framework 2.0 or higher, ASP.NET, VB.NET or C#, SQL, HTML, XML.
2.Experience in object oriented programming.
3.Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 or higher.
4.Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining .NET web applications in an enterprise production environment.
5.Experience in database design including SQL databases and non-relational databases.
6.Possess a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications.
7.Strong problem identification, troubleshooting, and resolution skills.
8.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9.Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring VISA sponsorship or transfer

Preferred Qualifications:
1.3+ years of experience developing web applications in ASP.NET technology (VB.NET, C#).
2.3+ years of experience working with database technology (SQL Server, Oracle).
3.Experience using DotNetNuke framework.
4.Experience with LINQ, Entity Framework.
5.Experience with Subversion, GIT or equivalent source control and version software.
6.Ability to learn and apply new technologies to solve problems efficiently.
7.Proficiency with client side technologies like JavaScript and jQuery.
8.Experience developing in an Agile environment or other iterative development methodologies.
9.Self-starter and willing to champion change.

Job Description:
Enterprise Systems is seeking an experienced programmer analyst to work within the .NET Web Application Development group. This group is responsible for design and coding of various enterprise web applications to simplify business processes allowing university departments to operate more efficiently. Enterprise Systems is an integral part of the Technology Resources service organization providing products to a wide-variety of areas across campus as well as integration with our ERP systems.

The .NET Web developer is responsible for the design, development, and testing of new applications as well as enhancements to existing applications in a fast-paced, agile environment. The .NET Web developer must be a problem solver who is able to find solutions to problems in an efficient manner with the ability to take constructive feedback and continue to contribute to the team goals and outcomes. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other developers, business analysts, and project coordinators. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to take ownership of assigned projects and ensure successful on-time and quality delivery of products, with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently. The Enterprise Systems team is looking for employees who possess enthusiasm, dedication, enjoyment of their work, and who are passionate for exceptional solutions development

Job Duties:
1.Analyze requirements and designs, codes, tests, and maintains application systems, programs, functions, services, and other related software components in response to enterprise needs of medium to high complexity.
2.Understand end user business needs and functional requirements and ensure they are met in software application development and delivery.
3.Prepare technical design options (program and database) and collaborate with other technicians on options and strategies.
4.Prepare estimates of effort and duration for development tasks and activities.
5.Design code to minimize implementation risk and/or improve system reliability and performance.
6.Develop application according to business and technical requirements in our Microsoft .NET Framework and DotNetNuke environment.
7.Ensure code developed is compliant with best practices, standards and enterprise architecture.
8.Support web application software through diagnosis of problems and implementation of changes to resolve problems and improve software.
9.Facilitate and build end user confidence by producing quality products.
10.Participate and support quality assurance and testing.
11.Adhere to change management requirements for application and system implementations.
12.Remain current in evolving technologies as well as currently used technologies and methodologies.
13.Communicate clearly and effectively, work independently and participate as a member of one or more software development teams and project teams.
14.Additional duties as assigned
