The Department of Communication at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a full-time lecturer and internship director beginning August 15, 2018. Responsibilities include teaching three courses each academic semester and one course in the summer; individually meeting, counseling, and advising students interested in internships; creating and maintaining relationships with businesses and organizations; conducting evaluative visits to placement sites; and coordinating the annual professional networking event and internship/career fair.

The Department of Communication is in the College of Communication and Information with graduate programs in communication, library and information science, and information communication technology. The College offers undergraduate programs in communication, journalism, media arts and studies, integrated strategic communication, and information communication technology. The University has recognized Department faculty for their teaching excellence and consistent record of extramural funding.
