Accounts Receivable Representative- Associate

Nature of Work

This position’s main responsibility is to process due diligence billing for Current Term Accounts. To effectively manage the A/R portfolio, aggressive collection efforts are required for these Current Term Accounts. Other responsibilities include processing DineWest deposits on a daily basis, provide billing summary and monthly review of accounts to Assistant Bursar, and processing third party invoices and collection of payments. In addition, this position will assist with the Scholarship deposits. Other secondary responsibilities include assisting in answering students’ questions about account charges and refunds on high volume days and assisting with Projects and Reports as needed.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years business related experience required. Candidate must have the ability to successfully meet deadlines. Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, be able to work under general supervision, and work effectively in a service oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
BANNER Student Information Systems Peoplesoft Financials
Cash handling
Collection experience
Accounts Receivable experience


$13.28/hrly minimum - $15.93/hrly midpoint

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Typical office environment with long periods of sitting.
