The University of Miami, seeks an outstanding individual for the position of Chief Supply Chain Officer (“CSCO”).
The CSCO leads and manages the entire supply chain organization of the University of Miami. This consists of the academic university and the health care/hospital system. The scope of the end-to-end supply chain includes strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain planning, logistics and procure-to-pay.
- The successful CSCO candidate will have a minimum of seven to ten years of progressively responsible supply chain management or equivalent experience in a progressive and complex environment, ideally in an academic research and healthcare institution or healthcare system
- Commitment to quality and customer service; demonstrated ability to work in collaboration with others.
- Ability to interact with all levels of University management and faculty, as well as with others outside the University.
