Job Summary


This adjunct faculty member teaches Developmental Education - Mathematics courses.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
  • Evaluates and advises students
  • Participates in departmental and College affairs
  • Develops curricula
  • Recruits students
  • Serves on committees
  • Performs other duties as assigned



Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or Statistics OR Bachelors degree with a minimum of 15 semester credit hours in Mathematics or Statistics including Calculus I or equivalent.
  • All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
  • Teaching experience at college or community college level preferred
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff

  • Master's Degree preferred
