Job Summary


This Adjunct Faculty member will teach courses in Animation and Game Development.


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
  • Evaluates and advises students
  • Participates in departmental and College affairs
  • Develops curricula
  • Recruits students
  • Serves on committees
  • Performs other duties as assigned



Minimum Requirements


  • Master's Degree in Video Game Development and Design related field (e.g. Computer Science, Modeling and Simulation, 3-D Visualization) or Master's Degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Game Development related field as listed above
  • All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
  • Possess excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skills
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
  • Demonstrated effective use of active learning techniques
  • Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
