Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management, this position oversees communication for the Division of Enrollment Management and assists in website editing, maintaining social media, flyer creation, and centralizing communication in support of the University's specific enrollment targets and broader strategic plan. This position collaborates with all offices within Enrollment Management and the Office of Marketing and Communications to ensure branding and messaging aligns with the University's strategy.

The hiring range of $40,658 – $47,726. The final salary will be commensurate with education and experience.

50% - Communication Plan
• Creates, leads and manages the Enrollment Management Communications Committee as an extension of the associate vice president.
• Provides direction and goals, develops a master communication plan, and creates a master communication calendar that is in line with the University communication committee.
25% - External Communication
• In collaboration with Marketing and Communications, manages and updates the enrollment management website content using the University's content management system.
• Collaborates with Marketing and Communications in development and deployment of social media messaging and campaigns to notify students of upcoming deadlines, important dates and students activities correlated with Enrollment Management (i.e. Open House, SALT, Welcome Back activities, registration events, etc.).
• Coordinates and sends out text messages on behalf of Enrollment Management to help promote registration and deadlines.
• Manages Enrollment Management forms keeping all forms consistent and following the form standards. Uploads all forms to the website in a central document library.
20%- Internal Communication
• Develops and maintains bi-weekly Feathered Flyer with relevant dates and deadlines.
• Develops and sends out the Enrollment Management Weekly Update to all staff. Uses sound judgment in determining items for the update as to not disclose any confidential information between the directors and AVP.
• A part of appropriate committees and work groups in order to have a more well-rounded understanding of the University goals and how our communication ties in.
5% Other
• Stays abreast of industry developments including, but not limited to, changes in regulations, technology, and best practices, to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skills necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities. Serves on internal and external committees related to communication to students to the University.
• Enrollment projects around communication.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with project management related to professional marketing communications projects and/or campaigns.
• Experience using writing and editing skills for communications (i.e. print and electronic).
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using social media outlets.
• Customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications
• A master's degree in communications, marketing, advertising or closely related field.
• Excellent oral communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience working with a diverse urban population.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Experience working in higher education.
• Graphic design experience including using software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, etc.
