Job Summary

This Part-Time Technical/Classified assists in hardware and software installation, upgrades and maintenance; user desktop support; Windows XP, Windows 2003 and Microsoft Exchange.

Duties & Responsibilities

•Troubleshoots hardware and software issues
•Supports offices College-wide which entails traveling to all the Campuses
•Assists the Postmaster in creating new NT and email accounts and assists students with their MDC account issues
•Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

•High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from a regionally accredited institution
•Possess a valid Florida Driver License
•Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and procedures
•Proficiency in Computer Literacy and have knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications
•Possess effective interpersonal and customer service skills
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and utilize effective time-management skills
•Possess excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
•Ability to work a flexible schedule including evening and weekend assignments up to 25 hours per week
•Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
