Academic Clinician, Division of Infectious Diseases

Job description

The Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant, Associate, and/or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic-clinician track. Applicants must have an M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Diseases is required.

Candidates will spend time at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and/or the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he/she will serve as an attending on the inpatient ID consult services. Candidates will also serve as attending physicians in the outpatient ID practice with a focus on post-hospitalization ID care. Candidates must have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and clinical care. Selected candidates will report to Dr. Judith O'Donnell, Head Division of Infectious Diseases, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, and Dr. Ebbing Lautenbach, Chief of Infectious Diseases, Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
