The UVA Health System Development team seeks a Development Coordinator to play a key role in both campaign planning and execution and expanding the scope and impact of our grateful patient fundraising program. As a member of the Healthcare Philanthropy team that works primarily with grateful patient and family benefactors, the Development Coordinator will ensure that our outreach to patient prospects and donors is prioritized, coordinated, and fully compliant with patient privacy law. He/she will support our programs to engage volunteers and clinician partners in philanthropy and the work of the campaign, track campaign fundraising progress, and manage special projects. The Development Coordinator also provides administrative support to the Assistant Vice President & Campaign Director.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in managing projects, working with databases, and organizing/analyzing data and information. He/she will be able to pivot easily between independent project work and collaborations with a supervisor and/or team. Ultimately, he/she will be a strong fit for a fast-paced, highly organized team and will be able to contribute in a way that makes our collective achievements even better.
