Minimum $42,167 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and Area of Specialization:
Master's degree in nursing, public health, public administration, or health services research or related field preferred.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in program or project management or related area required. The successful candidate will have strong research project management skills and interests, the ability to communicate well (orally and in writing), organizational and analytical skills, and a strong appreciation for public health practice and research.
License or certificate:
The Research Program Manager is the primary staff for the Wisconsin Public Health Research Network (WPHRN). WPHRN is a practice-based research network that links and supports public health practitioners and researchers in Wisconsin to answer research questions and disseminate evidence relevant to improving public health practice and population health. WPHRN members include public health professionals, researchers, students, and staff from health departments, academic, and professional organizations. The WPHRN is funded through the University of Wisconsin-Institute for Clinical and Translational Research-Community Academic Partnerships and is housed at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Nursing under the direction of Professor Susan Zahner.
This position could continue beyond 2 years depending on grant funding renewal and availability.
This appointment will fluctuate in FTE based on grant funding availability.
