Advertised Salary:

Minimum $60,000 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required; finance, accounting or other business related degree preferred.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

2 years of experience in a financial and/or research setting required. Prior experience in a university environment as well as financial analysis experience preferred.

Position Summary:

This position will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing the administrative infrastructure that supports all of the clinical research activities of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine (CVM). The position requires managerial expertise in all aspects of a clinical trial administration, applications, compliance, reporting, and budgeting. This is an excellent opportunity to work both with clinical research and financial reporting for a large division in the school of medicine.

Additional Information:

Advanced analytical and data mining skills using a variety of databases, query tools, report writers, and desktop software required.

Knowledge of health care administration, health care operations, principles and practices within a managed care environment and/or an academic medical center perferred.

Knowledge of research grants and clinical trial finances including Billing preferred.
